Ok, so here's the breakdown of yesterday.
Got up at 7am-ish. Dizzy, but otherwise ok.
Took a hot bath, then shower, and then steam shower to "clear out" my sinuses and chest.
Got dressed for work. Very hard to do this.
Made sure everything was packed, double checked, and then left for work. Grabbed a Squirt on the way out, due to extreme thirst.
Got to work. Immediately consumed some cold tabs, a glass of 3 packet EmergenC, a large glass of water, and 2 cups hot tea, and an english muffin.
Continued working.....sorta.
Fever, or what I deemed as a fever sort of started breaking at about the 10am mark. Kept trying to work. If I moved, felt dizzy and eyes would lose focus, like I was drunk. Like a pretty good buzz drunk.
Talked things over with m0ngrel for a little bit, and it was then decided that I best drive back to San Diego before the rain hit again, and before the mass throngs of traffic and idiocy started.
I leave work at about 11:15.
I drive as far as I can, before I start getting too tired to drive. Stop off at the Ortega Hwy (74) exit to a Carls Jr. where I pee'd, got something to drink, and retreated back to my car. All of this required LOTS of effort.
At this time it's like 12 something. I lost track.
I sleep till about 2 something. Went inside to pee again, got back to the car, took some advil, sat there till I was more awake and "clear" if you can call it that.
Continued the drive home.
Hit traffic in Del Mar, then Mira Mesa, then again on the 8 east near the college area. Fever starts to sorta break around Clairemont. I turned heater on and shut windows on the 8 to try and "sweat it out".
I arrive home at a little after 3 pm.
Lots of effort to get from the car to the apartment.
Once inside, I dropped all my stuff, and proceeded to make chicken stock soup, with some elbow mac. Ate that. Took some dayquil. Friended Caprica , left a comment in her blog, then zonked till 2:30am PST this morning.
Got up, talked to m0ngrel and surfed a little while.....till about 5am, then went back to bed till about 8:30am this morning. I got up feeling totally fine for the most part. Till about now at around 9pm, where I'm feeling a little dizzy again.
SO, with all that happening, I'm going to down a ton of water and some nyquil and then I'm off to bed.
