I recently bought myself a camera. A Canon Rebel XTi with 2 Sigma lenses and a 1gb card. I am totally in love with it. So much so, that my friend, whenever I talk about it, asks if I'm going to have sex with it. SO, that being said, I inquired about naming this new found love. She responded with Hole. Which in turn I came back with COURTNEY! So, Courtney might stick. We'll see.
I'm still playing around with it, trying to learn all its secrets. I like the fact you can play with the monochrome settings and have not just BnW and Sepia, but Blue, Green, and Purple as well. Adds kind of an eerie touch. I like it. I plan on posting some of my work as soon as I can start taking better pics. Right now, some of them are coming out too dark in places. And I'm not content enough to dump them into photochop to perfect them. Yes, I like it to be perfect from the lens. I'm anal like that I guess.

Anywho, not much else is going on. I am swamped at work, which takes up nearly ALL my time. I am in the process of trying to find a place in LA to stay for the week. I am also in the process of trying to get a new car. I need something bigger to haul around myself and the kids. I really want an SUV of some sort, and if I got something new, I would love the Mazda CX-7 in grey (no more black for me) or a dark blue or dark red. But if I go the used route, then I wouldnt mind a Mazda6 or even a Mazda3. Maybe even a Mitsu. Montero. I just want something BIGGER. My little 240SX is just getting too small for me. Its great for commuting, but too small for myself and the kiddo's.
