So, New Year's eve was fun but too short...I had to work at 8am the next day I spent the evening with friends playing Trivial Pursuit 90s edition and drinking Dominican rum. Needless to say, me and my drunken ass lost the game. My first official act of the new year was to go home and wash some dirty laundry. It felt cathartic and kind of a fitting way to cast off the old year. Really I just need clean pants for work.

I have a staff Christmas party to go to on Saturday. I'm hoping a little alcohol, added to the existing flirting, will help me make a move on the cute guy at work that I've had my eye on for months. I just found out a co-worker has eyes for him as well so I better do something quick. I just need to stop being such a dork around him. I'm usually much smoother. Wish me luck!!!
