I am the last in my family who is still single; now that my brother is getting married. The "fun" has already started.
The wedding is still 8 months away yet my brother assumes that I will not have a date. I have 8 whole months before the blessed event to find someone who is presentable enough to introduce to my family and he doesn't think I'll be able to do it. He assumes that I will be bringing my best friend instead.
So much can happen in 8 months. I might have found the guy of my dreams by then and, in a frenzy of romance and passion, decide to elope. He could be the last to be married. Unlikely, but crazier things have happened.
Grr, wedding preparations brings out the worst in people sometimes.
I'm done ranting now.

I'll be your date too. I'm quite presentable and know which fork to use and stuff. And when no one's around, I'll say funny, yet extraordinarily crass, vulgar and rude comments about everything and everyone. Everyone will wonder why you're laughing so much. This is my gift.
