I had a wonderful birthday. Thanks for all of you who sent your well wishes.

My best friend took me out for brunch. We then spent the rest of the sunny afternoon wandering around the market and window shopping. We ended up on a patio sipping coffee and chatting. My family took me out for a delicious Thai dinner.

So I've been on holiday for a few days now and have spent many an hour in the pool. I have to say: life does not suck right now.

I just had a job interview at a small private school. It sounds like a great position but since the school is so small the pay is crap. If I accept the position I may not make enough money to pay rent, bills etc and still have enough left over to have a life and shop. Decisions, decisions.

I broke my Steve Madden flip flop today. It is a sad day in my world.

So now I'm all moved in, thank gawd that's over. I am really sick of living out of boxes.

I had to go back to work today but it was a productive shift. I got to sit on my ass and get to do it.

I also got a line on a great teaching job in town. It is all about networking and connections.

Starting to move into the new house tomorrow. Oh how I hate manual labour. I just want everything to get magically moved so I can start on the girly decorating type stuff.

I just finished watching The Butterfly Effect. I am shocked...Kelso can act. It is the kinda movie that makes you think. It is in the same category with the likes of Sixth Sense and Momento. I watched it with my married friends. Why does the world seem to be only populated by couples when you are single? It's so annoying.

So I was checking out who I had finally chosen as my fav SGs and I noticed something. I apparently have a thing for girls with dark hair. It must have something to do with the couple years that I spent doing vampire role-playing in the goth community here in Ottawa. It must have imprinted on me or something.
