so i went to see morrissey last friday, what a great disappointment it was. 40-year-old fanboy librarians in frenzy wanking over a man who looked like he was just going through the motions and thinking 'haha, all you suckers paid 30 to see me, that'll get me a lifetime supply of soy milk or a small castle in france'. it was rank (see what i did there) i tell you! the song choices were safe and boring and the new songs off ...quarry just plain boring. when he played there is a light that never goes out i wished it really would.
i was, of course, the only one who saw the shiteness of it, everybody else seemed to be high on 'god' (debatable) or indeed something else (so many cunts in the audience off their heed and pushing me grrr).
on a lighter note, i got my old job back in the record shop. so now i can kinda call myself student/record shop person/freelance journalist. how cool am i? not very...
ps. how to dump your boyfriend without causing him distress and pain? suggestions to this address please...
