Woo!!!

So I was set up with a faux blind date scenario last night...

I was told by my friend Kate that she had a friend that wanted to meet me. She was having some people over her (kate) house for a backyard fire and some drinking and that I should come. So I did.

I was introduced to Nelly, a nurse that works at RIH. She was very cute, (blonde hair, green eyes) and first impression was that I liked what I saw. Then out of no where something happened that doesn't usually happen to me.... I STARTED TALKING TO HER!!! OMFG! I grew a set of balls!

As the night went on I found myself talking more, and more, and more... it was great! I felt totally comfortable around her and she was the first really attractive girl that hasn't intimidated me in a long time.

So as the hours ticked away and the conversation kept flowing, around 2 AM ish when the party was dieing down, I popped the question...

Doc: "So, you think you might be interested in hanging out again sometime?"
Nelly: "Yeah definitely"
Doc: "cool, maybe I can grab your number and I'll give you a call?"
Nelly: "Sure"

holy fucking shit.

Now I just have to play it cool, take it slow, be myself, have confidence, AND don't fuck it up! XD
