Wings..

So, I'm kind of used to being the wingman for my friends, not that I like it, I wouldn't mind a little action of my own every once in a while, but I'm used to it.

So I work 3rd shift at a hospital, and I was introduced to a nurse by a mutual friend about a month ago. I make sure that whenever I see her I say hi and stike a little conversation, and she seemed generally receptive. So last week my best friend, B, who I got a job working in my department had to come in and work 3rd with me to cover my regular co-worker who called out sick. That night, he works the unit that this girl works on.

Low and behold, this morning my mutual friend tells me that Laura (the nurse) wants me to give her number to B, and have him call her sometime...

What the fuck!

I've been trying for a month on this chick, B comes along for one night, and he gets her number. Now I know I can't control anyone, and I can't make her be interested in me if she's not, but fuck man... He's my best friend, and I'm trying to be happy for him, but the words are getting stuck half way..

I wouldn't mind catching a break eventually...
