Well, my first semester in grad school is almost complete. Just one exam left. It's nice to finally be furthering my education. As much as I loved graduating, getting my undergrad degree, and beginning work in an exciting field, it's nice to be trying to take it a step further. When I was in school completing my undergrad, I was just about as happy as I've ever been. Now that I'm back, talking with colleagues, etc. I am once again just as happy as before, if not more so. It took me a few years to finally go back, but I'm definitely glad I did.

The possibilites and doors that will open once I'm finished my masters I'm sure will be very exciting and rewarding.

Working part-time, while making finances a little hard, has made me enjoy my job similar to when I first started. There was a point where I was really no longer happy or remotely fulfilled by it, hence returning to school. But, cutting back on hours for school as in a way re-energized me and while I'm not at work as much, the time away is proving to be a help as I'm approaching work with new information, insight, and energy.

On top of the positives for school and work, my relationship is better and stronger then ever with my girlfriend.

All in all, 2013 is off to a booming start. I know there will be plenty of lows between now and 2014, but for now I'm just going to ride the good waves as long as they last.
