Danny called me today. Perfect timing.

He is finally willing to move forward with the divorce. He got out of the restaurant industry to get away from the drugs. He goes to AA out of his own free will now. He is sober and drug free. He also has a girlfriend, who he says knows about our disease and is okay with it.

Meanwhile, I am still struggling after paying off his debts. I am still alone since no one is willing to accept me with the disease, as I am outcast like a fucking leper.

But hey, Danny is doing good, all that matters. Soon, I will have my name back.
