danny started working last month. on his first night he cut off a piece of his thumb, through an artery, and landed himself in the e.r. they doctor would not let him work for a week, and then when he did go back to work, he was food running in stead of cooking, so they cut his pay. now he is back full time, but they have him dish washing, for his normal pay, instead of cooking. he is quite upset, given that he didn't travel 3,000 miles to transfer as a dishwasher.
i still have not found a job. this has been quite the nightmare. i have gone through 4 interviews with wells fargo and i will find out tonight if they want me or not. given that we could not pay all of our bills this month without my parents help, the pressure is on.
i still have not met one single person. but that is to be expected when you have no job, or means of meeting people.
but i do not regret this move at all! i love the area completely! i just wish i had some people to converse with and a means of paying my bills.

In answer to your question it was 1 day to mine the 7th. The niece's is the 8th. Hope you find both a job and new friends soon.
