it's been a looong time since i've posted on here, but here is all that is new and happening:
Nuna- she is 60 lbs and 7 months old. she is amazing and sweet and SO smart! we love her to death and cannot believe how fast she has grown!
Danny- he is possibly getting a promotion at the Portland location, depending on how he does on his tests. he will be the sou chef at McCormick and Schmick, and he is very excited about growing with the company!
Portland- we are moving the day after Thanksgiving! we have a 6 day drive ahead of us, with 1 dog and 2 cats, cross country, in weather we don't usually get in Virginia Beach. but we could not be more eager to get out of this town! our apartment is being remodeled as we speak, and our landlord is the sweetest, most understanding man! we lucked out with this one!!! i still don't have a job lined up, but i hope i get one quickly!
Wedding- we are getting married in 11 days, and i am excited for all of the stress and drama to be over! i look forward to being married and all, but this has been such a burden, i just want it to be done with! i also don't want to change my name, so that has been an ongoing argument, but i finally caved. i will soon be Deanna Vogel, as opposed to Deanna Dallas.
oh well. at least it's German! the morning after the wedding we are headed to Disney World and Universal Studios for 9 days!!!! i cannot wait to go back to the happiest place on earth!
Etc- my boss demoted me wit 2 weeks left in the company, and i am no longer making half of what i was before. i am so pissed, he couldn't let me finish out with the company as a manager. he cut m hours, my pay, and moved me to another salon where my clients can't follow me so i won't be getting my big wedding tips. it really sucks because i am the only manager to not fuck him over and just quit. this is what i get for giving him notice of my move.
i don't know if i will keep my account active after this term has ended. i am still debating... i'll let you all know what i decide when it gets closer to that time. until then, everyone take care! i hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!!!!

I am glad you updated on Nuna I was wondering how she was. Now post pictures.
I am so happy that you are moving out and starting a new life. Don't let your sad little boss bring you down. He is just jealous that his life sucks and yours is SO FREAKING AWESOME! As a matter of fact, I think you should make it a point to rub it in his face every time you see him, just keep bragging about how happy you are going to be and how great things are going for you. You should even lie to him a little bit and tell him you got a job waiting in Oregon that pays you more than he makes.
I'm sorry I am going to miss your wedding, I know I told you I'd be there, but I am going to be in Costa Rica in 11 days. Maybe if you called more often then I would have known to adjust my plans!
Anyway, you take care of yourself and be sure to leave me a way to keep in touch with you if you leave SG.
