as their end draws near they will me to their side. they request my presence as i carry their peace. their comfort. they can see it in my eyes. feel it in my air. they know that i know. they know i do not come on empathy. nor sympathy. nor do i come to speak of false hope. i bear the truth. i speak of what will be. in that truth they find the strength needed to settle their debts. to carry out unfinished business. and i promise, that as they pass, i will continue to help them complete what was left undone. i will tell their tales of bravery and comfort their loved ones. i know that the living do not walk alone. that they walk with us daily. and as is custom, those passed will wait for us, til one by one, all are joined and reborn.

i will be there through it all. forever they call on me. in flesh. in spirit. i am their servant. i am their messenger. use me at your will. call on me as you see fit.

this is what i was born to do. what i was born to see. what i was born to feel.

rip Sam Trost. she passed tonight, around 6pm, at 20 yrs old. Sam was a fun loving spirit, with an amazing smile. she had been battling cancer since she was 16. in an attempt to stop the disease from spreading, they even amputated her leg. unfortunately, it was too late. to the very end, Sam loved art and music. as a part of the Make-A-Wish foundation, she was able to record a cd with Disney a few years ago. she was also very athletic. Sam will be missed by anyone that ever had the chance to meet her.
