Rotties can and will challenge for dominance ... over and over again if they've been abused. This is horrible news sweetie. sometimes we just don't want to accept the animals do snap, not only dogs but any animal. I had a cat that I love but almost stab to death after she attacked my stepson and sent him to the hospital with his whole body scratched up and inner thigh bitten. now I have pythons and a beautiful PIt bull. Which you'll be surprise but he's way better than the cat. Anyways! i hope your mom got better from the injures. I love dogs and i trained mines really well. Hope something works out for you sweetie!
