listening to interpol's "antics" right now. the cd was in the yeah yeah yeah's case. YYYs were in the case for sunny day real estate, and SDRE was in the case for interpol. funny how, even in my laziness to put my cds in their right cases, there seems to be some sort of orderly pattern? i have no idea as to why this sort of shit seems so interesting to me...
i have a pretty short attention span, but the stuff that actually catches my attention is always just regular stuff. a week or so ago, there was a car crash in the intersection in front of the place where i work, but i can't really remember anything about the crash itself. i mean, i know there were screeching noises and then the "crunch" sound accompanied by breaking glass falling to the asphalt... i was more interested in some guy who was locking his bike to the chain-link fence next to the store parking lot... i dunno why, the guy with the bike seemed more interesting to me at the time. i can recall some stuff about the crash as it wasn't completely out of my "bubble", but i dunno. hmm.
i'm not really sure where i'm going with this...
i was going to take some pics with my roommate's camera, just to let whoever looks at my shit, to let them see my retarded ass, or my stuff, or whatever. cigarette butts and a tiny glass bear. who knows.
i would have to take the pics on his camera, and then put it in this docking-something-or-other, then upload the images to his computer... then send them via email to this computer... then i download them from there, and then upload them here. i'm not feeling like doing all that tonight... but i assure you pictures sometime soon. of what, i don't know... but i'll have something up here.
seriously though, i finally got a new copy of photoshop and i was going to start messing about, and if anything cool came out of it, i was gonna just slap them in here somewhere. if and when i figure that out, it should be interesting... or not. maybe you'll think it sucks. that would be weird...
i need to get a copy of illustrator too, or whatever it's called now...the vector graphic program made by adobe. yeah, i need to get a copy of that. that would be so awesome. holy shit! import some stuff from illustrator into photoshop, get some layers going, and rock!
hahaha. i'm such a nerd for design and art in general. i like to sit around photoshopping for no apparent reason for hours, working on something, playing with the opacity, tweaking the levels, gaussian blur here and there, maybe make some fake "rust" here... yeah!
