Hey guys,

So I think it's time for a sincere update. I think my time here as a Hopeful is over. I have been a member on this site for a few years now, and I just don't see it happening. I do enjoy this site very much, and I have met a lot of rad people here. But I'm just over trying to submit set after set and not getting much in return. I don't believe the site is about the girls themselves as much as it used to, and I can understand that. From a business perspective. But I do believe SG is trailing further and further away from their roots.

Who know, maybe later on in life I'll shoot a set that I feel needs to be submitted. But for now, I think I will be taking my photos to Zivity. There will be a lot more photos being posted there, and I will feel quite a bit more confident having my photos up and appreciated on that site.

I understand the whole, "you've gotta have thick skin" concept, but if my skin gets any thicker on this site, I'm afraid I will turn to stone. I really believe its easy for popular SGs to say that, because, well they've made it in and got their following already. I'm really beginning to think that my membership here being for as long as it has been, has actually hurt my chances for having a set bought. You would think it'd be the exact opposite.

I'll still be around. I still dig the community. But I just don't want to be looked down on anymore because I'm just some hopeful who's been around for years and never gets sets bought. I feel that with this hopeful tag, I'm just selling myself short.

You don't have to agree, just understand.
