El Paso got 6 inches of snow this week. In my back yard. My jacuzzi frozen. Luckily none of my pipes did. Both of the cities power plants froze over, and our 8 generators went ka-put.
Been a strange week, with rolling black outs and subfreezing temperatures. I think we hit -10 or something. Even worse, the wind chills.
Btw, El Paso IS IN THE FREAKING DESERT. We're used to 100 degree weather. It was a nice change. Glad my home is in good condition and didnt suffer any damages. Just my automatic garage door, that isnt so automatic anymore. lol

In Espanola, NM we have no gas what so ever. There is not a single restaurant or school open. A few stores closed down too.
