Alright. So I finally got certified with TANF and into the choices program. The choices program is going to pay for my school, but it has to be 6 months or less long. BUT- my counselor says he's pretty sure financial aid wil cover the rest. The course I want to take is 8 months. It's a Medical Office Specialist. It's not much, but it's something. It's so damn hard to get a decent paying job. At least I'll have some kind of certification, in something that interests me. I'd love to work in a doctor's office, just without doing all the needles n junk. Not for me!

The thing is, the school that I want to go to is WAY on the other side of town. I've called other schools that are a bit closer, but I'm not really diggin their courses. I'm just comfortable with this school and the course. I just hope I can afford the gas. Since once Bianca turns one (next month) I won't be getting any formula from WIC anymore, I may be struggling with that for a while. My monthly income will only be about $250. Lame. But hey- at least they give me $35 in gas cards a week. That will help out tremendously. Too bad gas prices are shooting back up again

It could work. It will be tough for a little while, but it could work. I'm totally excited, yet totally nervous.
I think I'm going to go register tomorrow
