Wow. Today was a hell of a day.
Let's start with the morning, shall we? Well, Bianca had her doctor's appointment with the Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist. As some of you know, she's been having all kinds of ear infections, and her pediatrician suggested we see the specialist. So we went, we saw, we conquered. Well, almost.
He ran some tests on her, testing her hearing and such. Turns out her ear drum isn't vibrating as much as it's supposed to or something. There's fluid in both her ears, and she's hearing 30% less than what she should be hearing. This can also be reason for her balance not being exactly the best (I noticed a few other kids are already walking that are her age, but that might just be me freakin out too.) And I'm concerned about her speech. If she can't hear correctly, how can she learn to speak? He said what she hears right now, is like hearing people under water.
So she's having surgery on thursday to have tubes placed in her ears. Apperantly, it's a fairly common procedure. She also gets to go home that same day. The whole thing should take about an hour, more or less. It totally sucks, but in a way, I'm glad we caught it sooner than later, before any permanent damage was done.
After that, I took Bianca to daycare (hell I paid for this month, she might as well go and have fun right?) and went to my appointment to get my new tattoo. It came out amazing. I'm so glad this guy was on the same level with me. It took about 3 hours. Didn't hurt much, except towards the end when my arm began to swell and became incredibly tender.
But, I didn't cry!

Please excuse the fat arm, like I said, it swelled like a bitch.
So that kinda brightened my day. I was pretty down about the whole, my 10 month old is ging to have "surgery" this week thing. What else was awesome was I came home to find my set ready to go in my e-mail! It came out great! So I submitted it Cross your fingers guys! It'd be fantastic to wake up and find it was accepted! But I'm sure it will take a bit longer than overnight! A girl can dream right?
Anyways, I'm exhausted. Long day. I hope you guys are having a great week too!
