Its official...
I'm not immune to the plague. I've aquired the creeping-crud that seems to have avoided me for the last couple months. There would be no other reason for me to be up at 7:30am. I haven't slept most of the night. I felt fine when I went to bed around 2 (which is like 10pm for me, if I was on an 8-5 schedule). I woke up at 5am, with the worst case of the cold-shakes and the worst runny nose I've had in years. I haven't been able to sleep since.
I think in an hour or so I will take a Tylenol PM and try to sleep for a while.

Felix Da Housecat - Virgo Blaktro & The Movie Disco is a really great album. Really great.
Also, I am getting a bike. Its a GT Mountain bike, front suspension, nice newish parts, one-hundred-dollars on craigslist.
I will go get it today if I get a brief respite from the sickness. I can't wait to have a bike again. I need to go get a lock, some flashing clip-on lights for my bag and such, a pump and an emergency repair kit that I can carry around. I think I'll start using it as my ride into town to the max starting next week, provided I can acquire everything I need to ride safe and smart by then. The dude is giving me his helmet with the purchase so at least I don't have to waste any cash on that.
