I saw the best show tonight. Well, maybe not THE best, but definately one of the most entertaining shows I've been to in a damn long time.
Since I didn't get a ticket to see Justice at Holocene, I wen't completely the other direction and watched:
Stovokor; Probably the worlds only, and if not only, definately BEST Klingon Metal band ever. Followed up by the one-and-only.. Captured! By Robots.
This is a one-man-with-many-animatronic-robots band. This is the "Dubya" 2007 tour. All of his robots represented various public, political figures, and all of his songs are performed live by him on vocals and guitar, and the "band" (really, they're full on robots) backing him up.
On Drums, robo-Condi Rice, Bass / Rhythm guitar, Robo-Cheney (imagine that), Aux percussion, Robo-Sadam Hussien, Backing horns, Robo-Hillary Clinton, Robo-Fred Thompson and another robot that I didn't get to see due to where I was standing. He also had robot comentary by two robo apes dressed like Wolf Blitzer and Nancy Polosi respectively.
It was fantastic. I was by myself, but it was totally worth it. God-Damn. If you ever get the chance to see this show, GO. It will change your life.
