I've been on an R'nB and Soul kick lately. I don't know what this is about. Probably now that I'm about 6 months out of a hardcore relationship, its my brain trying to get me my mojo back, and the only way it can do this is through the teachings of Rick James.

Probably not.

But maybe.. just maybe I can (re)learn a thing or two from some of my all time favs, Rick James, and James Brown.

Besides the soundtrack to Death Proof, its just about all I've been listening to the last few days. I need to rip some of my Al Green and some of these old weird Billboard comps I bought years ago.

I am painfully bored tonight. I was going to go downstairs and watch a movie or two before bed, but I just kinda want to go to bed. I've got a mean headache, and the New Castle Brown Ale really isn't helping me any. I should buy a bottle of Jack one of these nights soon. What sucks is, I wake up and get out of the house for work a bit to early for the Liquor stores in my neighborhood to be open, and by the time I get off work, they're ALL CLOSED. When can a brother buy some damn liquor in this town when he works a swing shift? Can I get a God Damn? amen..
