I was talking to a friend of mine the other night about this whole bachelor thing, and how meeting new people and going out to different places then you normally would is a good way to get the lead out. How, putting yourself outside your element sometimes brings your real self to the surface in ways you least expect.
I had made the observation that I can fit in just about everywhere I go, have a good time and call it a night. HOWEVER, despite the fact that I can fit in just about everywhere, I realized that I don't have any place I truely belong.
I have lots of places that I go frequently, but I would hardly call myself a regular at any of them. I know faces, but can hardly remember names. I know people who are regulars at different spots, but despite how often I go, I just don't feel like I'm making said places my own.
Perhaps in time I will discover the perfect spot.
I think I am going to head to the Matador or maybe Touche's after I get back into town tomorrow night. I need some stiff drinks, loud music and pool. Anyone care to join me?
