Ok. So I am officially in pain.

I am still suffering from having to bail off of my skateboard on Thursday night to avoid being hit by a car downtown.

I didn't break anything, but I've got some severe swelling and some really deep brusing in my hand/wrist and my left hip.

I'm cool with it though. I'm out of shape, and this is all part of the process. I knew that when I started skating again. I would fall, and I would fall hard. Its all about taking your time, mending your wounds and getting back up and doing it again.

I guess that last thought is more of an alagory for my life as of late. I've had to bail hard and handle some serious pain, but despite it all, no matter how much it hurts, the only thing I can do is get up, brush myself off and try again.

Paolo Nutini - These Streets
The Fratellis - Costello Music


So far, Muse and the Klaxons are my favorites. The Fratellis are a little too indie for my tastes, but its still really good. Paolo Nutini is a great musician, and I have a feeling this album will probably grow on me in time.

I haven't gotten any good metal or electronic stuff lately, I mean, anything new anyway besides that Kavinsky album I posted about the other day.

I think I need to take some more ibuprofin and fall asleep on the couch for a few hours
