bailed
So I totally ate shit tonight trying not to get hit by a car on my skateboard...
I was coming home from Touche's (14th and NW Glisan, Pearl Dist. Downtown) and about 4th and Glisan (like 3 blocks from the MAX station I needed to be at) I saw the cross walk turned to "Go".. you know, with the little man on the sign.. Anyway.. I started bombing down the sidewalk towards the crosswalk. From the corner of my eye, just as I was rounding the edge of this building on the corner, I see some douchebag in a Scion TC try to race me through the crosswalk...
I bailed.. I bailed hard. I landed on my left arm/hand/hip. My board went flying straight into the side of his car. I got up. Brushed myself off, grabbed my board and proceded to yell obsenities at said douchebag about being the cross walk and red lights and so on..
I am going to be sore tomorrow.
