my weekend ROCKED!!!!!! meex and soz and our friend Marissa came up and we got to go to a drum and bass party with the adorable meemee. Thgn the next night I went to a bar where there was a going away party for cricket, so I got to meet many of the lovely people from SG!!!! Best weekend in a looooooooong time!

2)easy. Kerouac. for when I found him and how well he fit my ideas of what I wanted my life to be. not easy, but not drudgery either. Poppy Z. Brite is a close second.
3) So many to choose from. was Young Guns made in the 80's? I think I remember watching that stupid movie over and over. also just about any cheesy Ninja movie from the 80's. Michael Dudikoff anyone?

I only get one Saturday off a month...so I can go to drill, which is this weekend. I'm going to try to get that one off too, but i doubt I'll ever find anyone to cover it.

I would have to say either Soul Survivor, Hide Your Love, or Sweet Black Angel. Ugh! There's too many good ones!!

Bukowski. Before SG I use to think I was the only chick to dig his work. I love that he can be a drunk and womanizer one moment and a fucking genius the next.
3.) What is your favorite cheesy movie from the 80's?
I was in awe of the Breakfast Club as a kid. I wanted to be like Judd Nelson (is that his name?), I was a BIG tomboy, I always idolized the boys. Also I loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off. My bro and I got it for X-mas one year and thought it was dumb at first and ended up watching it 50 times!
4.) Sophia Loren or Raquel Welch?
At first it was Sophia but as of late I am digging on Raquel.

I was thinking something in May, after my finals. I am living at a friends house, sitting on 3 acres. I thought maybe something similar to the potluck, but maybe less, since more people would be coming from out of town. Plenty of room to have an outdoor party or just a get together and watch movies. Nice entertainment system.
