It is so lovely to be waking up early again, and sleeping at night. I feel like myself again, which is nice after all the insomnia of the past few weeks.

I've been playing with Sherlock all morning. Life could be worse.

Last night I was held against my will by apologies and forced to endure hours and hours of US Maple, with only a short break with Grant Lee Buffalo in the car on the way to get some wine. I don't know if I'll ever be the same. Evidently they're able to replicate that cacophony exactly when they play live. That's talent!

So yes, my life is thrilling this week! I have yet to call the redhead and invite her out; I'm getting cold feet but I really should.

I want to go see some movies; there's a great theater near me that's going to be showing 2001: A Space Odyssey, Casablanca, The Shining, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, A Clockwork Orange, and Lolita (hopefully the one with Peter Sellers!) this summer.

5.) somewhat...it's not something I focus on consciously very often but I think it informs my thoughts and actions (ok, maybe my thoughts more than my actions)
