Well, Swimming Pool was as luscious as I thought it would be.
I got The Last Temptation of Christ today from Netflix, just in time for Easter! I'm thinking I'll wait until my long lonely holiday weekend for that one.
I have Good Friday off but my papa refuses to fly me back to Atlanta. That's fine with me; I know he's having financial issues lately. My aunt in Austin must be getting sick of me or something; she was very odd last night. I think I'm on one of those can't-please-anyone jags. My mom says it's because I have really high expectations of myself and others (isn't that such a mom thing to say?). I say it's because I don't know how to interact! I am completely socially inept. I hope being nice makes up for a lot, but sometimes I know it doesn't. I don't ever intend to offend people, but for some reason that's what happens when it's the last thing I'd try to do.
Sorry for the rant.
Anyway, here are some things I'm actually happy about:
1.) This fall I'm going to see my favorite band in the whole wide world with my best friend, Sabra.
2.) Tonight I met a female pit bull that was very sweet when I came home from work. Her owner was walking her past but she wanted to come see our car very much, so I got to play with her. She was gorgeous!
3.) Tomorrow night I'm going to see the Astros vs. the Giants with my dad, our lawyer friend Catherine, and her daughters. I haven't been to a ball game since before Turner Field was built!
4.) Last but not least, I learned how to drive a stick tonight!
