This weekend I:
1. drove to Austin in the most amazing downpour I've ever experienced in Texas
2. got a ticket for speeding on the way to Austin, my fourth and last in the state of Texas
3. read most of Dostoevsky's The Idiot
4. went out with Mulhollanddrive, Spadez, and SuburbanSlave to the usual spots downtown; watched the crowd stampede (someone got trampled)
5. lusted after cute chicks in glasses and a really hot Latin guy with awesome arms at Star Seeds
6. slept super-late and didn't have to go to church with my aunt and her family
7. missed Pinback because no one else likes them
8. left early due to strange vibe from my aunt-didn't get to see Volkov, was bummed
9. did all my fucking laundry!
10. spent quality time with my aunt and her family
I'm so sorry I haven't updated; I hate it when people leave the same old journal entry up forever.
I was at my very Christian aunt's house and I'm guessing that wouldn't have been too cool of me. It was really nice to have time to read fiction this weekend, instead of textbooks, and to sit outside by the pool and enjoy the sun with my cousins.
I took my horrible exam last week, which was such a relief. Tonight I'm going to watch ATHF, drink mango-lime punch, listen to Morphine, and watch Swimming Pool. You've got to love French films with nudity.
I hope everyone had great weekends. What did you all do?
EDIT: I forgot the Final Four game on Saturday night! My uncle is a Tech grad, so I had to watch, but what a tight game! Unfortunately, Duke lost, but at least one of my teams will be playing. Bynum made up for all those fouls; I hope they keep it up!

my cell phone and wallet were stolen at work Sunday morning, so I had no way to get ahold of anyone up there, plus spent the one day banks are closed completly trying to get bank cards cancelled and reordered. BAH!

my weekend was, well, a weekend spent at home with family trying to grip the loss of another of our fray.
but i did get to spend time with my sweet Ukrainian Baba, so it was alright.
