Sorry about that.
Yesterday was pretty decent. I studied for my anth. exam and late in the day drove up to Austin for Mulhollanddrive's birthday party. I picked him up so we could go have the infamous peanut butter pie at Magnolia; it lived up to its reputation. We then met up with JACX, xiphoidtoo, Spadez, interzone, and SS and her entourage at Casino El Camino. The drinks flowed, but they were out of Calibre, so we made our way to Beerland, which was lots of fun. We were lucky enough to catch the tail-end of a performance by the Boom Chica Boom Girls gogo dancers, which was set to bad-ass music from the 60's. I talked to the girls afterward about their get-ups; they were sweethearts. After that, Kitten's band, The Winks rocked. We all said hi and made our way to a party that one of Spadez' friends invited us to. That was nice, too; we met some nice people and there was a cute little dog to entertain us. The music was excellent as well-so good, in fact, that several times we had to wait for a good song to finish before we'd leave. Anyways, we ended up at Kerbey Lane for coffee and yummy reinforcements to make the long drive back to Houston instead of staying in Austin for the night-not a good idea, but I did it nevertheless. All in all, it was a good time. Everyone was really nice; I hadn't really spent time with many of the Texas SG people, and they were very cool.
So, that was my Saturday/Sunday morning. I had my study group this afternoon, which I was a zombie for, and now I'm going to watch City of the Lost Children. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
PS-Austin has an inordinately high concentration of cute girls.
Also, soulseek is fucking addictive. I have exams next week and I am wasting way too much time downloading music.
