Last night my philosophy class was cancelled, so I watched Monster's Ball and cleaned my room. Good lord, was Billy Bob disgusting. Halle Berry's character seemed very realistic; it was refreshing not to see the stereotypical female lead. I did not, however, find the infamous sex scene so sexy. I had a hard time really connecting to this film, but it dealt with so many ugly realities that maybe that's a good thing.

It's nice to be back in my own space. I don't really have my own room in Atlanta anymore, which doesn't matter; I shouldn't, since I'm out here.

I got my Sebadoh ticket yesterday! Now I just have to work my ass off everyday until then so that my dad will let me go back to Atlanta on a Thursday.

Sometimes we're lucky and government officials do the right thing and take responsibility for their mistakes. It's really sad that Richard Clarke is being attacked because of partisan politics.
