Yesterday was a good day. I'm sorry I didn't really write in anyone's journal; I was busy reading. I bought Rules of Attraction yesterday when I snuck out for coffee, in addition to Dreamtigers by Borges. I finished it before I went to bed last night. I'm excited! New books make me very happy.
My dad and I had spicy Thai food last night and watched Best in Show. I love Christopher Guest and his itinerant cast. They rock!
I can't stop listening to Scatterbrain by Radiohead. It depresses me but at the same time it reminds me of No Surprises, which should actually be even more depressing but somehow is good.

2)easy. Kerouac. for when I found him and how well he fit my ideas of what I wanted my life to be. not easy, but not drudgery either. Poppy Z. Brite is a close second.

I would have to say either Soul Survivor, Hide Your Love, or Sweet Black Angel. Ugh! There's too many good ones!!

Bukowski. Before SG I use to think I was the only chick to dig his work. I love that he can be a drunk and womanizer one moment and a fucking genius the next.

I was in awe of the Breakfast Club as a kid. I wanted to be like Judd Nelson (is that his name?), I was a BIG tomboy, I always idolized the boys. Also I loved Ferris Bueller's Day Off. My bro and I got it for X-mas one year and thought it was dumb at first and ended up watching it 50 times!
