Today it rained a lot in Houston. I never realized how perfect Hail to the Thief is for driving around pissed off in the rain. I used to think it was only good for driving around at sunset, but now I know better.

My philosophy class was cancelled tonight, which ended up being a good thing because there was a flash-flood warning and I really wanted to watch a billion episodes of Law & Order with my dad and have granola for dinner. I am eating diet bread, diet turkey, diet fucking V8!, diet everything now. I have to get ready for this date I have coming up. I'll probably have a tumor from all the aspartame by then, but what the hell.

I really hope Kerry doesn't keep Edwards from winning the Democratic nomination. I thought that his campaign would be over after it was discovered that he received so many contributions from lobbyists and special interest groups, but he's still going. Why? At least Joe Lieberman dropped out.

UPDATE Thursday: Samantha doesn't have cancer! The doctor just called to let me know that the radiologist at UGA says that Sam's lungs are clear and that the mass they saw must be just a small fatty tumor, but it is definitely not cancer in her lungs! Woo hoo! This makes me soooo happy. Now my old lady can make it to 16!
