Tonight I go to the Earl to see my old high school friend open for Dropsonic, if I can leave work on time, that is. Today I'll be working with my favorite doctor, but she is soooo slow. Everytime she closes we get out really late. On the plus side, usually she'll take us out to Taco Mac if we stay late. Tonight I want to go to the Earl, though. So I hope she's not slow!

I'm going to take pictures today, I really am. Yesterday I forgot to take my camera, but today it's in my purse, ready and waiting. I'm being good and conscientious today. It's pretty sad when remembering my camera constitutes conscientiousness to me, but I really am falling apart lately. I've had my car break down, gotten pulled over for an expired tag I didn't know about, lost my airport parking ticket, and my driver's license this week. Today I'm on a roll!

Music I'm addicted to lately: old-timey country, like the Louvin Brothers, Skeeter Davis and her (faux?) sister, and plain Emmylou Harris (she's not too old-timey, but she's goooood). Maybe it's being in Georgia, I don't know. Maybe I'll become a honky-tonk singer and run away from my troubles. It's a more exciting alternative than going back to Houston!
