I want to go drink caucasians and bowl my ass off. Who doesn't?
Reasons to be sad today:
1.) My checking account is overdrawn.
2.) My old cat Caramel is never going to get better. The vet says the only thing that will keep him well is steroid therapy, and it will shorten his life
3.) Sherlock isn't with me.
4.) I'm still not done with my archaeology paper, and here I am wasting my time on this site.
Reasons to be happy today:
1.) School is almost over and in spite of the shit that happened this semester and the fact I never study like I should, I am going to finish with excellent marks.
2.) My new tattoo is pretty!
3.) This is my last weekend in god-forsaken Houston until next year.
4.) I get to take an anthropology co-op class next semester where I get to observe some tamarinds at the zoo that have been let out of their habitat and are allowed to scamper about on their own. I love me some monkeys!
Houston may be ugly, god-forsaken, and utterly lacking in charm, but it is the home of Paddy Thai, possibly the world's best Thai restaurant. I'm craving some pad thai and spring rolls and Thai iced tea. I'm going to eat good tonight
Then I get to go watch 28 Days Later. Yay!

I would love some pad thai, spring rolls and thai iced tea. There is a place here in Vegas that make great Thai, just like I had in Bangkok, it is quite good. I have been there with a dying cat and overdrawn checking account. Thankfully both of those are in the past. I am sorry to hear about your cat, they can be great friends. I used to have 3 and called them my little furry friends, when they would do something nasty they were still LFF, litte furry f***ers. I still miss them.

I work for a coffee roaster and in the industry there is a lot of talk of brazilian coffees. They have always been a producer of medium/low grade coffees. Now there is a push for them to produce top quality coffee so that specialty coffee roaster in the us will buy from them. Blah blah blah! sorry-I'm a coffee dork--oo i gotta go to work! bye! daniel
