It was great hanging out with my old roomie again. I missed him a lot. We both were pretty busy when I moved up here and then he traveled a lot over the holidays so we hadn't hung out in a while. He's like family to me. We watched cheesy action flicks Friday night and had a few beers, and then he came out Saturday night to Lyrical's going away party, where I met an adorable Brazilian boy...

You know you're in trouble when you tell a boy you have a boyfriend and he tells you he loves girls with boyfriends. I'll admit, I understand the appeal, but it's funny. Brazilian men are trouble because they're too hot, they dance well, they say terribly scandalous things in Portuguese, and they can't be trusted.

After recovering from Saturday night, I went out last night with my "hot professor." That's what I'm calling him (he has a PhD in psych and, well, it's a hot fantasy). We had dinner at my favorite Thai place and discovered my one local bar, which contrary to what I thought isn't a mafia front and actually has a decent jukebox. He's tall, handsome, and so far appears to be the smartest guy I've ever met. I have yet to find out if he's as kinky as he says...so far he's been a gentleman.
