Friday night after work I had some delicious sushi and got drunk on pear cider (I know, so girly) and sparkling sake, tried to go to a fetish club that turned out to be boys only, went to the sex shop instead and was surprised at the cross-cultural exchange the war in Iraq has brought about: Arab and East Indian porn was huge! I marveled at Curry Cream Pies and Egyptian Street Whores. Evidently, it's been a long time since I've been in a sex shop.

Saturday worked all day and had a great girls' night in, with cheap wine, homemade vegetarian nachos (with real cheese-I don't do that nasty nacho "cheese"), and Sex & The City episodes. My girlfriend and I went to Kroger in our pajamas, rocked out to the oldies they play (there's something great about the music they play after 2 am there) and almost went to dance to booty music til we realized we were still wearing our pajamas and looked like ass. We had an obnoxiously good time and fielded booty calls until the wee hours.

Yesterday I worked a very, very long day and had dinner and drinks with some coworkers at the super expensive cafe next to my bakery afterward. Our desserts were $8 and sucked! I had a banana cake with peanut butter filling and chocolate frosting...couldn't taste the banana and the cake was sooo dry. This place is known for their desserts, too-it's one of the places I'm thinking about selling cakes to.

Today is my day to recover from way too much going out. I'm drinking lots of honeybush tea, my favorite, and lots of fruits, too. I'm leaving for New York for a few days on Wednesday...still not enough money to enjoy the sites, but I have a feeling I'll have a blast anyway.
