Pedro Almodovar is such a genius. I saw Bad Education (the Spanish title is so much sexier: La Mala Educacion) the other day and got all hot and bothered. Gael Garcia Bernal and some hot Spanish actor making out...it doesn't get much hotter as far as boy-on-boy action goes. Yum. Of course the film also contains the usual Almodovar trademarks: always brilliant use of vivid color, profound melodrama, and the authentic vitality of his characters. I can't wait to see Volver when it comes out here.

I finished a book on the feminist backlash of the 80's (scary but true) and now I'm working on Brave New Brain. I'm trying to read what I have before I get myself into further debt at Amazon. I must stop ordering books.

Playing doctor is lots of fun. I'm still trying to get my libido back...it's hard because I still enjoy sex and I can become aroused easily. I just can't have an orgasm. Fuck Effexor. I love being functional and depression-free, but fuck, a girl's got to come sometime. I'm just trying to relax, enjoy myself, and do lots of cardio, because that usually helps. We'll see.
