I am happy but I am sad,
I am here but I am lost.
I do not know where this road of mine is going to take me.
You have shown me too many times.
You broke my heart in too many pieces
I am left with nothing
I wake up in tears
and face this world with fear
for this is just the beginning of my end
I place one foot in front of another
and slowly walk down this beaten path
for my true friends light my path
Night falls and with the light of my friends
I follow this narrow path
for it is no longer cold at night
but still it is dark and scary
with the light of my friendships
I will find my kingdom....my light my camelot
I know day will break on my darkest time and when it does
I will not let one dark cloud shed my tear
for the smile is near. I look toward the path
with great hope knowing over the last hill
is my final hurtle in life. I am one step closer.
