so a little while ago a new lounge opened up on 17th ave.. it looked pretty nice inside, and i was kind of excited about it. after a few weeks, i got a few calls about DJing there on thursdays, and finally talked to the owner last week. he seemed excited about getting me in there, but fairly clueless when i was talking to him about his sound system and how much money i was expecting.
so i finally went in to meet him last night to talk about everything and it turns out that he doesn`t even have a PA that i can hook up to in the bar...... AND he expected me to provide one when i came down to DJ! i tried to explain to him that if he planned on having DJs on a regular basis that he needed to get a decent sound system, and he totally desregarded everything i said, kind of looked at me like he thought i was an idiot, and instead says "i don`t know how you`ve gotten by being a DJ this long without having all the equipment"..... to which i replied that he was lucky that he had found enough suckers up until this point that were willing to drag around an entire sound system and not charge him extra for it. really now.
anyhow, the moral of the story is that i will definitely not be DJing there, even if he does decide to get his shit together and get some kind of sound system set up.... because he`s a CHUMP, and i don`t work for chumps.

i don`t understand how someone so stupid managed to make enough money to open a bar in the first place.
someone please explain this concept for me.
