I know you're right about it all. I tell myself the same thing but somedays are just hard...lonely. Life can be lonely. The question is, how do you know when you are ready for a relationship? Do you have to wait until you don't want one anymore to prove you are ready? Isn't that kind of like the chicken and the egg?
*sigh*
Most days I handle myself like I'm ok. But when I go get my dog and I see how happy my ex-wife is with that perfect male physical specimen I wonder if there is anything for me. If I stand a chance in the real world of "dating".
I use my journal to vent alot of my personal doubts, regrets, and fears. It helps me...those like you help me. You remind me that kind, good hearted people do exsist.
You can come kidnap my dog anytime you like. But if you take her home with you I'll hunt you down.
But if you come we can kidnap then celebrate the operation over a barrel of rum.
If not maybe I'll have to try some Canadian rum one day.
