seeing sharon jones and the dap kings last night just reinforced why i love funk and soul so very, very much.
that was truely the best show i have EVER been to.... i don`t even think i can begin to describe how good they are, but i imagine it`s what it would have been like to see james brown back in the day, not that he still can`t put on one hell of a good show, which i discovered earlier this year.
i was even lucky enough to have sharon jones sign a 45 of 'how long do i have to wait for you?' after the show.
so. freaking. happy.
