Update 08/19:

The same night I broke up with the bf I got a call from him at 2:00am. I wouldn't have even answered but I thought it was my brother who was supposed to call me when he got into town. bf says "just wanted to say i love you". I hung up.

broke up with the man of 6 years.

he cried, screamed, begged, and broke things.

he threatened to kill himself.

i've called everyone but the police about this threat (i.e. his best friends, brother and mom). no one wants to call him or go over to help him.

i don't know what to do.

he's moving out by september.
