Feeling sad and a little wistful this rainy sunday evening. By chance I heard "Summer Song" by Chad and Jeremy on the radio today and it launched me into an mp3-downloading frenzy. There's something about softly sung love songs with lush string arrangements and perky brass accents that makes life seem less glum. Here is my playlist in progress:

The problem is this: I don't know much about this genre, so most of my playlist has been built by following Amazon.com's "If you like that, you'll also like this" feature with varying degrees of success. I've been frantically phoning my parents to ask for musical suggestions (I figure they're the right demographic to tap for this sort of a question), but they aren't home. If you are reading this and you can make some recommendations, please do!

I don't know what it is about this music, but it makes me melt on contact. I feel like a 13-year old ca. 1965. It's probably just pms.

well right now I study the art of diversion and procrastination. The idea is that I am to be studing all manners of Music/Math as it applies to music(i.e. accoustics). I don't go with any intent of getting one of these "degrees" I keep hearing about-I just like to learn-that shocks quite a few people that I use school mearly as a device to "learn" but thats it-So when someone asks and I dont want to explain I say something ambiguous and vague like"mutidepartmental degree" just because I've been in school almost long enough to get a Phd(enough credits to if they only fit into a disipline) So yeah-Today I get drunk, listen to music, fart around with the roomies, record at little and I've never felt so good doing so little-Xaqs a happy guy
