It's Hebrew - consisting of the characters Heh, Lamed, Beth, Chet (there are several varations of these names/spellings of these names of these characters). They correspond (respectively) to the letters H,L,B,C ...somewhat. It has two meanings - neither can be translated directly to english, but the closest thing of each would be a) 'she who ruins' and b) 'pledge' (as in loyalty)
