I've been playing a druid on a different wow server with a bunch of people from my work. I gotta say, it almost feels like cheating being able to melee like a rogue, then heal myself and tank like a warrior all in the same fight.

It's funny, I look at all the things that I mean to get around to doing but just don't through lazyness or whatever, then I look at Jocelynn and this trip she's got coming up and think damn, I've gotta get my life in order.

There's a billboard next to the corner gasstation and on it is a wonderful add.

I've come to realize that the biggest change in my life directly related to my finger getting messed up is... I can't open pop cans one handed anymore with my right hand.

I'm up early, wrapping things for the neice and nephew, wondering if they're driving their parents mad yet with bouncing off the walls, or maybe they haven't hit that age yet, they're small enough that I can't remember what it was like, what things were rattling around in my head at that age. I really need to learn their names.

I got my IGDA membership activated the other day, now I'm all official.

My big accomplishment for the day: Shovelling all the leaves and crap out of the back driveway so I can walk to the store without feeling like I'm going to slip and break my neck.

Five days off in a row, I think I'm going to like this. Got my time in lieu of overtime and with the weekend tacked on the end that's quite a bit of kicking around relaxing. Only day two and already I've gotten around to some stuff that I've been putting off for months.

Second chance sundays, quite the buisness move, pay for one set a week that you would buy anyways, get a few free everyday.

So after many misadventures with my finger it's well on it's way to recovery. I went in and got x-rays today and the bone has re-knitted again. It's still pretty damn thin at the join point, but it's far enough along now that I can leave the splint off when I'm at home alone and not in danger of jumping pets or flying electronics. Skins...

Well the finger is once again broken, drunken friend threw a tv remote at me and managed to hit jus the right point on my finger. Then came the convulsing which completed anything the remote didn't manage itself.

You know I try to be upbeat about this whole thing but damn am I ready for it to not be broken anymore.
