The first game I ever played was Mario on the NES, but the first game I ever beat was Legend of Zelda on the NES. These two games were formative for me, and continue to influence the kinds of games I enjoy- platformers, dungeon crawlers, action-adventure games.

I really like this one. It is at least as good as First Class, if you liked that one. Not as good as Captain America, but my hope has been restored for the rest of the series.

Something small- life is moving slower now that I'm all moved in. I beat Demon's Souls, and am working on L.A. Noire. On the side, I've rediscovered my passion for anime, and just finished Witch Craft Works.

Since my last update, I spent money I didn't have on some furniture, saw Protest the Hero, beat Pokemon Y, re-started Muramasa the Demon Blade, and am interviewing for a new job (gasp! excite!).
