Unfortunate that there wasn't just a way of just replacing the hose or something else so you didn't need to replace the whole thing. Sometimes you get lucky and something can be made to work, other times not so much.
Seems like it might be worth exploring a bit more of the friendship aspect, but not getting too close just yet. Both of you are going through some pretty major life transitions at the moment, and those kinds of major transitions tend to make people not know what they want or think they know what they want but it's not really what they want. I really can't give you a straight and clear answer about this since it really depends on what exactly you're comfortable with. That being said, taking a more conservative approach would probably be your best bet at this point - this way you can get deeper into things but not so fast that you lose control.

Hopefully getting it inspected won't be that much of a hassle. Inspections in NJ used to be kind of a pain since it involved both a safety and emissions test so the wait was sometimes long. Starting last summer NJ has gone to emissions only inspection so it now takes about 10 minutes.
I can honestly say my bipolar disorder is a bit out of whack right now. I'm becoming hypomanic and i can't control it. Mine manifests in strong sexual desires so I'm in constant need of sex bad part no steady partner at moment which means I kinda just look for anyone I'm willing tofuck my judgement is cloudy & my gut instinct gets thrown out...

I haven't driven the new car much yet but I am really liking driving it. It's already feeling a bit less new since I put the permanent license plates on it this morning and everything with the insurance has now officially been taken care of.
Hopefully things will go well at the new job when I start next month. At the very least it should be at a better run department than my current job and that's good enough for me.

I have also heard of issues similar to mine happening to other people I know with different preceptors - so you are definitely far from being alone with these kinds of things.
