i am in the same situation as you with my mom as well. i told her the same thing as you told your mom and my mom is still closed minded. the hard thing is i tell my mom everything but when i get a new tat i do not tell her and when i see her shes like "oh a new one" and does the bad look thing...its so hard being so close to her and her not liking something that im into... oh well right???
