Wish I could put in a good word. I'm not a member of SGSD. I have occasional bouts of shyness and such like that, and I knew I'd be a bad member (people'd always be askin' me to come out and i'd be all, "uh...next time..." and such, I'd be such a persona non grata. So I decided to opt out.)
I was a member for a while though. They are uber nice and I'm sure they would let you join! The group's cool.

Oddjobs after party yeilds nothing. Beers at Luce to bring in my weekend with bears and waterskiers projected on the side of the house. Yoni, Kyle, Jamie, Jenille, Jenny, Cory, Jon, Kyja are the crew and others filter in and out. Nights when you want pictures but cant bring yourself to leave long enough to get the camera. Summer.

Went to Diversey Bowl and although Tunnel Slats, Oak, and Pilar, and Nerdboy will claim this never happened I kicked all their asses one by one. Stayed for a bit signing autographs and consoling shatered egos.
Tunnel Slats started acting antsy and next thing I knew he pulls out a 9 mil and starts screaming...

Ha, I'm new to this SG journal. Sorry about that! I'll try to keep you posted on Winnipeg shows and touring Winnipeg bands. I'm not a fan of the Weakerthans, but I am attending an art gallery showing that will have John K. Sampson as well as Head Hits Concrete (what a mismatch!) performing live. As well, my band is tentatively confirmed to play the Midwest HC Fest going down at the Babylon in Minneapolis on May 17th and 18th.
So the trip to Chi. got bumped to next week so we will have to wait for our tape machine. Thats the bad the good is I got a new intership at a local studio. very,very good news. very.
